While waiting for the battery, I removed my swollen battery from the laptop and start working with plugging in the laptop (without battery) and get the CMOS checksum invalid every time I start my laptop. So, I tried to search online and bought a replacement battery. I've tried to be as detailed as I can in order for someone on the forums to help me, but if there is any other information that you need, please reply and let me know. After their quotation, I found out it is quite expensive for me to afford. The only thing that I haven't tried is replacing the battery, which I am planning on going over to CVS and buying one tomorrow, but I really don't think the battery is the issue since I've only had this computer for 2-3 months. The part where I added the '_' contains a number that increasesĪll the way to 4080K, and then the computer reboots and completely restarts this process.ġ)My PSU is not the issue as it's a 700W Corsair Brand PSU.Ģ)I've already cleared my CMOS by both using the jumper, and removing the battery for 30 seconds with no success.ģ)I don't believe it is a wiring issue because it worked untouched for the 2-3 months that I have been using it.Ĥ)When I first received my computer, I replaced the power supply before its first boot (I'll note again, it has been working untouched for the past 2-3 months, so I don't believe that the PSU replacement was the risk factor)ĥ)The cursor is under 'OK' when I am given this error message, but pressing ENTER or any other keys will not do anything.Ħ)I am still able to enter the BIOS menu from the logo screen.ħ) I have flashed the BIOS from F6 to F7 and the problem still persists.
